How Do You Hold It Together When You’re Feeling Stressed?

Stressed out? Feeling frazzled? Can’t take it anymore?

What do you do? Who do you turn to? How do you hold it together when things get tough or there’s simply too much going on?

In “How I Hold It Together: Quiet FaceTimes and More,” Nicole Stock shares six ways she tries to make her own life less stressful:

Students, scroll through and read the entire article and then tell us:

  • What kinds of things stress you out in and outside of school? Does stress and anxiety play a big role in your life?

  • How do you keep it together? What do you do to get through a particularly tough day, period of stress or when your thoughts are spiraling with what Ms. Stock describes as unhelpful “what ifs”?

  • What do you think of Ms. Stock’s six ways of dealing with stress? Which of her strategies might you want to try in the future?

  • Based on your own experiences, what advice would you offer to others to help their lives be less stressful?
