Sad Songs

[ad_1]

When you’re sad — when you’re facing heartbreak, loneliness or grief — do you ever put on sad music?

If so, why do you think you do it? Does listening to a sad song help you feel your feelings? Is it emotionally cathartic? Does it make you feel less alone, knowing that someone else has been through what you’re going through? What are your go-to sad songs?

If you don’t like to listen to sad music, why not? What do you do instead when you’re feeling down?

Tell us in the comments, then read the related article to find out what science says about the reason people like emotional tunes.
