Bellarmine provost quits after vote of no confidence

[ad_1]

Paul Gore, who has served as Bellarmine University’s vice president for academic affairs and provost since 2019, is leaving his post, Bellarmine president Susan Donovan told faculty and staff in a message Thursday, The Louisville Courier Journal reported.

Gore and Donovan were both the subject of no-confidence votes last month.

Faculty are upset over the phasing out of majors including foreign languages and international studies, philosophy, physics, Spanish, and theater.

Gore did not respond to a request for comment.
