In a major bureaucratic reshuffle at Central level, senior IAS officer of 1994 batch Chhattisgarh cadre Nidhi Chibber is appointed as Chairperson of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Chibber is currently serving as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries.
She has been appointed in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India, confirmed by an order by the Department of Personnel Training.
